What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My pricing is competitive with professionals who have 30+ years experience in the commercial art industry.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I typically have a conversation with the client first, either in person or by phone/e-mail. Once I have an understanding of the project, I create an initial B&W sketch. If revisions are requested, I create a subsequent sketch incorporating the client changes. Then I create the final rendering, whether it's a traditional drawing or painting, or a digital rendering.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have over 30 years of experience in the industry as a self-employed illustrator and designer.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I've always liked to draw, and graduated from art school with a BFA in illustration.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Designing and illustrating in the field of collectibles, such as coin displays, figurines, commemorative stamp panels, etc.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Ask as many questions as you feel is necessary to fell comfortable hiring me; then be prepared to answer a lot of my questions so I fully understand and appreciate the goal of the project.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

You won't find another illustrator who will work harder for you to make your project a success.
