Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Per project we have a minimum of $10,000. I take pride in my work with the quality we provide. We pay more attention to detail and you get what you pay for.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
We reach out and see what you want to do, we go over our numbers and send you a quote, we help you navigate how you'd like to pay for it, we set up a schedule with you of how long the project will take. Keep in mind there are a lot of variables, depending on the materials picked and job details. We give ourselves a time buffer to where we'd rather finish faster than expected as opposed to longer. We want to give you peace of mind for the proje

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I'm a licensed General Contractor with a CSLB. I was born and raised in LA and know the market here. I have years of experience.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I fell into it naturally. I like the creative process of it. I like bringing people's dreams to reality. I give it the energy and excitement as if it was my own project. I enjoy coming up with different designs and solutions to make your every day easier.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Old, young, every nationality, we work with everyone. Not all customers are the same. Some require more than others, and we're happy to walk every customer through the whole process.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
We did a whole house rennovation in La Jolla. It included: roof, kitchen, int. and ext. paint, 2 bathrooms, smoothing out popcorn ceilings, floors, new HVAC systems, added an additional dwelling unit in the back. It was an older house that we kept the old charm, but modernized and updated it. It lasted from May to August.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
First and foremost make sure you work with someone who is licensed, bonded, and insured where if they aren't you are liable. Don't make cost the ultimate factor of who to select. Go with someone in the middle who will provide higher quality work. There's an old saying "The cheap guy ends up paying double". Get it done right the first time.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Go onto the CSLB to check people's license to ensure people's license fits the scope of what they're doing, you don't want someone with a landscape license doing Electrical work. Do a background check on the contractor as well. Ask to see testimonials from past customers, maybe ask to talk to a past customer of theirs. Search online how much it costs to do a project to get familiar with project costs. Be sure to decide what your budget is before reaching out to a contractor.
