Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
We provide free estimates and offer senior and veteran discounts.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
We like for our General Contractor to come out to the customer's home and see the project first hand. He will discuss the scope of work, materials, and labor with the customer and provide a free estimate usually within 24 hours of that meeting depending on the size of the job.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Our General Contractor has over 30 years experience, we have both our home improvement contractor license and new home construction license and are fully insured.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Started with Home Depot over 30 years ago, then took a job working for the state as a builder, then went into business for ourselves about 10 years ago and have been serving Fairfield County, CT and surrounding areas ever since.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
All kinds, both residential and commercial. From small projects like furniture to building entire homes from the foundation up.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
The cheapest contractor is not always the best choice. We do our best to keep our pricing reasonable but unfortunately some contractors are so desperate they underbid jobs and do shotty work. We have taken on many projects where the customer originally had some handyman start or even complete a project incorrectly and we had to come in and correct their mistakes.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
What specifically do you want your project to look like when it's completed? What is your budget for this project? What is important to you when selecting a contractor?
