Introduction

I'm a self professed Plaster Geek. This job chose me and I couldn't be happier. This reflects in my work. I'm usually more picky than my customers when it comes to the quality of my plastering. My patchwork is transitioned impeccably, work area is prepped to contain the mess so clean up is a breeze and my helpers are boy scouts. You'll find me articulate, knowledgeable and clean cut. I look forward to working with you.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
We bid by the job not really by the hour. So what I do is assess the parameters of the job and give a lump sum price.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I usually have my office manager set up and appointment to come see the job. Sometimes I'll look at jobs when I'm in the area working on another project. Other times it may be in the evening or every other Saturday afternoon. If it's a small project you can send pictures. It's best to have several photos from different angles and close up and back away about 10 feet or more to get a good handle on what is going on.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I've been doing this since I was kid. My father was a plasterer and he taught me growing up how to do this trade. All those decades add up to knowledge and an exceptional skill level.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I will work anywhere in town. If you need the work done then I will bid the work.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Make sure they know they need to contain their mess. It can get out of hand very quickly in this line of work. Inside our tented plastic things can look like a plaster bomb exploded. So things can get pretty nasty if the area isn't prepped will.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Does the plasterer have insurance? Are they just a handyman or painter or is this all they do for a living?
