Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Our pricing is competitive and based on the scope and complexity of the project. We offer free estimates and clear, upfront pricing—no hidden fees. Discounts may be available for larger projects, repeat customers, or bundled services (e.g., combining painting and drywall, or plumbing and remodeling work). We aim to provide high-quality work that fits your budget, and we’re always open to discussing options that work for you.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
We start with a conversation to understand your needs and goals. Once we know what you're looking for, we schedule a site visit (if needed) to assess the project and provide a detailed, no-obligation estimate. After that, we agree on a start date, timeline, and scope of work. We keep communication open throughout the entire process and make sure you're satisfied every step of the way. Clean, professional, and on time—that’s how we work.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have over 24 years of hands-on experience in general contracting and related trades, and I’ve worked across a wide range of specialties including plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall, remodeling, and more. I started out working alongside my father, who’s a contractor, and learned the trade from the ground up. Over the years, I’ve worked with seasoned professionals, taken specialized training courses, and held key roles in residential, commercial, and industrial projects. For plumbing, I hold a valid plumbing license and gained extensive training while working for a plumbing company before starting my own business. In electrical work, I bring over 25 years of residential wiring experience, beginning with my time at Ford Motor Company. I also received on-the-job training in drywall and insulation installation while working with experienced contractors, which gave me the foundation to start my own businesses in those areas. My background is rooted in real-world experience, technical know-how, and a passion for doing quality work the right way.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I got started in this line of work through family—my father is a contractor, so I’ve been around tools and job sites since I was a kid. Growing up, I learned how to build, repair, and problem-solve firsthand. Over the years, I worked alongside experienced tradesmen, gained knowledge in different areas like electrical, plumbing, painting, and remodeling, and eventually started my own businesses. It’s always been a part of who I am, and I take pride in continuing that family tradition of quality craftsmanship and dependable service.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I’ve worked with a wide range of customers over the years—homeowners, property managers, real estate agents, small business owners, and contractors. I’ve handled everything from single-room projects for families to full remodels for multi-story buildings, commercial spaces, and apartment complexes. Whether it’s a quick fix, a custom remodel, or ongoing maintenance, I’m comfortable adapting to each customer’s specific needs and making sure the job gets done right.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
One project I’m really proud of was a siding job I completed recently. The customer needed a full replacement, and I made sure every detail—from the prep work to the final finish—was done right. It took me about a week to complete the job. The transformation was huge—not only did it boost the home’s curb appeal, but it also improved its energy efficiency. The customer was thrilled with the results, and that’s always the most rewarding part for me.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Do your homework—look for someone with real experience, solid references, and a track record of quality work. Don’t be afraid to ask questions about their process, timeline, and materials. Make sure they’re licensed and insured if the job requires it. And remember, the cheapest price isn’t always the best value—quality work done right the first time will save you time, money, and stress in the long run. Trust and communication are key, so go with someone who listens and takes pride in their work.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Before reaching out, it's helpful for customers to think about a few key things: What’s your budget and ideal timeline? Knowing this helps us tailor the project to your needs. What’s your vision? Even a rough idea or inspiration photos help guide the conversation. Are there any must-haves or deal breakers? Whether it’s materials, style, or functionality, clear priorities keep the project on track. Have you had work done in the past? Sharing past experiences helps us understand what worked—or didn’t. Do you need help with design or just the labor? This helps define how involved you want us to be from start to finish. The more details you can share, the smoother the process. A good contractor will walk you through the rest.
