How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
My passion for home construction began as a young kid. At the age of 5 when asked what I wanted to be when I grow up, I would respond, "an Architect". I would spend hours daily in my teens drawing custom homes. My father has been in a contractor in Las Vegas since 1990 and still is in construction today. He built our homes growing up and I began working for him at young age. I always enjoyed seeing the transformation of spaces, whether it was a small renovation or a new custom home. My passion grew into a career as I pursued formal training in architecture and business. In 2016 I saw the need for alternative housing options and began converting shipping containers into luxury tiny homes. Over the years, I've honed in my expertise through hands-on experience, managing a variety of projects both locally here in Las Vegas and throughout the U.S. I've constructed homes in areas like Joshua Tree, CA.. Maui, HI and James Island, SC. These experiences have provided the necessary experience for us to now take on larger projects such as apartment complexes and residential communities. What drives me is a passion for building and seeing homeowners realize their vision - taking a space they live in and turning it into a place they truly love.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We've had the privilege of working with a wide range of customers, from big tech entrepreneurs and a-list celebrities to hard working blue collar families looking to modernize their kitchens and bathrooms. Whether it's a full-home remodel, backyard casita/ADU addition or modernizing a specific room, we specialize in creating personalized spaces that reflect our clients' lifestyles. Our clients most commonly fall into one of three categories: 1. Luxury Properties: We cater to customers who want high-end, bespoke remodeling solutions with premium materials and finishes. 2. First-Time Renovators: We guide those new to remodeling through the process, ensuring their experience is smooth and stress-free. 3. Businesses: We help to enhance commercial spaces, creating functional and stylish office spaces or storefronts to elevate the business operations. We also provide unique containerized solutions for small businesses to meet their storage and temporary office needs. No matter the scope of the project, we pride ourselves on adapting to each client's unique goals, delivering exceptional results and excellent customer service.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
One of our recent projects that stands out was the construction of four custom homes we did for a developer. They wanted to design and build homes that did not follow the traditional look and feel of mass produced housing. They chose to incorporate alternative construction materials which provided a one-of-a-kind look and differentiated it from everything else in the market. With this being a fully custom project, we worked very closely with the owners and utilized our team of architects and engineers to develop the full set of construction documents as well. Being part of this project from start to finish was an enjoyable experience and is a great example of how thoughtful design and attention to detail can lead to an incredible end product and it's one of the many reasons we're passionate about what we do.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
When hiring a home remodeling provider, it’s important to look for someone who understands your vision and can deliver quality work. Here are a few key tips: Check Credentials and Experience: Ensure the provider has a strong track record of successful projects. Review Their Portfolio: Look at photos of past work to get a sense of their style and craftsmanship. Read Reviews: Customer reviews and testimonials are invaluable. Make sure that they have a history of completed projects and stand by their work. Get Detailed Estimates: A reputable provider will provide a clear, itemized estimate that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and costs upfront. Avoid vague or overly generic quotes. Communication is Key: Choose someone who listens to your ideas, answers your questions thoroughly, and keeps you updated throughout the project. Clear communication is essential for a smooth remodeling experience. The right provider will not only deliver excellent results but also make the process enjoyable and stress-free.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Before reaching out to a professional, it’s helpful to have a clear idea of your goals and priorities. Here are a few key questions to consider: What is your budget? Having a general idea of how much you’re willing to invest helps the professional provide realistic recommendations and options. What is your timeline? Determine whether you have a strict deadline or if your project can be more flexible. What are your must-haves? Identify the features or aspects that are most important to you, such as specific materials, finishes, or layouts. What is the purpose of the remodel? Are you upgrading for personal enjoyment, increasing resale value, or solving a functional issue? This can shape the scope of the project. Do you have any inspiration or references? Gather photos, ideas, or design elements that reflect your style. This will help the professional understand your vision. What is the current condition of the space? Be prepared to discuss any existing issues, like structural challenges, outdated systems, or specific areas of concern. Thinking through these questions beforehand allows for a more productive conversation and ensures we can provide tailored guidance to bring your vision to life.
