Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
We do offer discounts for seniors, military and usually have great promos year round. For honoring our prices and accuracy we find it best to offer an estimate once we have a chance to come and measure in your home.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
We love being in touch with our customer throughout the process. We're a small family run company so the owner will usually be involved from the sale to shopping ride-along to project management to the hand-off. We send detailed scope lists in our proposals along with visuals of what the customer will get and inform them of anything we uncover when we open up the walls, like mold or plumbing issues. A remodel is a big project and we like to make it as low-stress as we can.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
We are LEED certified, EPA Lead certified, Wedi certified and one of the owners is an architect.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
We purchased the rights to Bath Tune-Up for Round Rock, Cedar Park and Leander territories in 2023 after fix-and-flip, rentals and transforming spaces for friends and family

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We have worked with veterans needing VA-approved accessibility changes, empty-nesters wanting to redo their bath after many years in their retirement homes, young couples needing a tub for their little ones, paramedics who can works with us only at odd hours and everyone in between!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Ask for a detailed scope and what is included and not, warranties, waterproofing methods, how they plan to fix underlying issues behind walls and how well they prep, communicate and stand by their work.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Think of why they need to make a change and what are the things that annoy them in their daily routine. Who all use the space, how and when they use it, how long they want to keep this home and ask for all options of materials, not just the ones one pro offers.
