Introduction

A Team Renovations was built from a homeowners perspective. We constantly experienced hurdles when attempting to simply get a phone call. Thats why we’ve established communication standards for every project we’re involved in: We respond to every message and phone call by the end of the day. We keep you informed at every phase of the remodel. Once we start your project, we are committed to make progress every single day. We don’t disappear for days/weeks at a time. We don’t see our selves as just builders rather as partners with you to achieve the vision of your remodel.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We typically are priced in the middle of the pack. We will not be the cheapest and not the most expensive. We provide a ton of project management oversight and technology to keep the many moving parts in sync and the client updated.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We set an appointment to visit with the customer to review the project and attempt to get as many details as possible so we can create a fixed price inclusive of what is discussed.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I was a consumer of general contracting services in my real estate investment business. I was constantly frustrated with the communication and commitment from contractors therefore, I built my own team. Once Covid happened and we were delayed from purchasing homes, my crews begin doing remodels for friends. One referral led to over 120 projects since then and we made the decision to grow the business.

What types of customers have you worked with?

We have worked with clients who have decided to make their current home their forever home and looking for a contractor who understands their vision, can execute on that vision, and can understand how to reduce the anxiety that comes with such projects.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

We recently expanded a kitchen by taken portion of the covered patio next to the kitchen to enclose it. We totally rearranged the kitchen from the previous version. It included everything from framing, electrical, plumbing, etc. It totally transformed the house. The client was ecstatic and has invited us back to do another addition as a second story.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Ensure the contractor is providing a thorough bid to make sure the scope includes all of the items you are looking for. Then be sure to understand how the finances are disbursed and at what intervals.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Do you have a concrete vision of what you want, or do you need design assistance? Do you have a budget? Are prepared to move out during the remodel or will you live through it?
