Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Our website provides a base price per square foot including one full bath.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
For basements, please visit our website or call for a preliminary budget based on square footage. If the preliminary budget works, contact us to schedule an appointment at your home. For remodels or additions, please contact us to schedule a free onsite consultation.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have a degree in finance from UofU and 20 years of experience in the home building industry.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I started remodeling homes to keep as rentals while in college. Next, I worked as a framer until I got a job buying and developing land for a home builder. Eventually, I started my own home building company.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We have built hundreds of semi and full custom homes around the Wasatch Front. We have also finished basements and remodels.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
We recently completed a full design-build home in Draper with a lot of uniques design features. The process took about 1 year from start to finish. We also finished a basement with a Star Wars themed theater that was a lot of fun.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
I suggest choosing a contractor that will manage the project from start-to-finish with a good subcontractor base.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Do you work with a designer? Do you subcontract all the work or do it yourself? Can I review your contract? How do you manage your schedule? Do you have a project manager? How do you process invoices?
