Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
A free estimates takes into consideration the scope of project and its location and calculates cost and transportation and materials.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I use an honest and easy flow of communication to connect with customers: a) I personally meet with customers, listen to their project needs, goals and requirements. b) Generate a Scope of Work (SOW) that includes pricing and project timeline. c) Generate price quote for 50% of the project needed to procure materials and pay my crew. d) Upon project completion, we invoice the remaining 50% as stated on SOW and contract terms.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
My training and skill sets have been passed down from my father, grandfather and friends in the trade. We have 20 years of trade experience between us.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I have always been fascinated with building cool things and using my hands. I enjoy watching things in motion and seeing projects from start to finish. I love the process of talking with customers, listening to their needs, building solutions and together producing the ideal design. I have always been dedicated to helping others so my decision to start my own company allowed me to connect with customers at a deeper level and help build their dream home project.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We specialize in working with homeowners but have worked on all types of projects. In the many years of servicing the Utah Community, Olympia Stucco Construction Group has learned to be flexible, accommodating last minute changes ensuring customer satisfaction.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
All of our projects are exciting and at times can be challenging too. We have had memorable customer projects, but there is one that stands out. It was a foundation plaster application in Heber City. We had a great connection with the customer from the start. At the time we had not established any business in Heber. Our services were requested on Sunday and by Wednesday my team was onsite working hard. The work was completed that same day and the customer was incredibly happy with our results. We do this type of work all the time, but in this case the customer really took note of our quick response and incredible results, that plus the deep connection with this customers made it incredibly memorable.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
●Be sure to have a face-to-face conversation with the provider. Building rapport between the client and provider is critical to the success of your project right out the gate. Make sure the provider has the ability to listen and understand your needs. ●Be prepared to ask the provider questions on similar projects, how many, and how often do they perform this type of work. More importantly, ask the provider to give personal feedback on what he/she believed was the overall customer experience. ●Trust but verify. Ask provider and do some fact finding on their license and insurance. Be sure to confirm that documents are current. ●Communication is key, be sure the provider is quick to respond and address your questions. Ask when and how the provider can be reached to address your questions and concerns.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
●I recommend the customer have a well thought out project vision, affordability and timeline, and while I do my best to accommodate changes to ensure customer satisfaction, I do want my clients to understand cost implications of these changes to them, something I make sure is communicated at the start of any of our projects: a)$ Cost of materials already procured b)$ Cost of new materials c)$ Cost of finished work to-date d)$ Cost of additional resources
