Introduction

I have many years of experience in custom home construction and remodels, I specialize in helping clients turn their unique ideas into reality — even when they aren’t sure where to start. I thrive on complex, one-of-a-kind projects and take pride in a collaborative process that clarifies your vision, defines the path forward, and delivers exactly what you need. From the first conversation to the final detail, my focus is on craftsmanship, clear communication, and creating a result that feels distinctly yours.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
My pricing is very competitive right now because I’m growing my company and want to build strong relationships with new clients. That said, the lower price doesn’t mean lower quality — I have years of experience, and my craftsmanship reflects that. You’ll get skilled, custom work at a great value.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
When working with a new client, I like to start with a phone conversation to understand your vision and goals. From there, we’ll schedule an in-person meeting to walk the space and discuss how to bring your ideas to life. I’ll then provide a detailed quote, and we’ll work together to fine-tune it to fit your needs and budget. Once everything feels right, we’ll sign a contract and get your project underway.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Washington, but I quickly realized the corporate path wasn’t for me. I’ve spent my entire career in home remodeling, working closely with general contractors and now serving as a project manager for large-scale remodels. This experience has given me a deep understanding of every phase of a home renovation, from start to finish, and how to manage all the moving parts to deliver a successful project.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I got started in this work because the corporate world just wasn’t for me — I wanted something more honest and hands-on. I’ve always loved building and creating, especially when it means bringing a client’s dream to life in their own home. There’s nothing better than seeing the excitement and joy when a project turns out exactly how they imagined it.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I’ve worked with all types of clients — from high-end homeowners with fully custom 4,000-square-foot homes in Magnolia to those needing a simple deck repair or refinish. I also love working with clients who’ve dreamed of a specific remodel or addition since buying their home, and I get to help make that dream a reality. Whatever the scope, I enjoy tailoring each project to fit the client’s unique vision and needs.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
Honestly, my favorite project is always the one I’m currently working on. While some projects are more custom or creatively exciting than others, every client deserves my full attention and effort. I stay fully invested in the job at hand rather than comparing it to past work — that way, each project gets the focus and care it deserves.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
My advice when hiring a contractor is to prioritize clear communication and make sure they’re genuinely listening to your needs and vision. Always have a contract in place to protect yourself and ensure everyone is on the same page about the scope and expectations. Most importantly, trust your gut — choose someone who makes you feel confident they’ll deliver exactly what you’re looking for.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Before hiring a professional, it’s important to think through three key things: your budget, your scope of work, and your ideal timeframe. These are the pillars of any successful remodel. Having a clear sense of each will help guide your conversations and allow the contractor to better understand how to meet your expectations. From there, you can refine the details to find the right professional for your project.
