What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We offer training for the following - 1 on 1 personal training - Swim Lessons - Duet and small group training - Online Training - Hybrid (in-person and online) - Nutrition and meal plans All new clients will also receive a pair of FeiYue shoes for training. And all online and hybrid clients will receive an additional set of bands for at home exercise. We customize our programs based off your needs and goals.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

For new clients we will first conduct a fitness evaluation to determine your fitness level and if there are any current issues which need to be addressed. After that usually for the first 2-4 weeks we will be working on corrections for your form and getting a strong baseline of conditioning. With our in person training one session typically lasts for 1 hour. The first 10-15 minute will be warm up, then about 30-40 minutes of strength and conditioning and the last 5-10 minutes to stretch and cool down.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

At Turbo Train our employee's are certified through the ISSA and are . We have experience working inside gyms like Equinox as well as Equinox's education system for trainers. Our founder Albert was a D-I collegiate swimmer and has worked with olympians, professional athletes, and celebrities. Hayley is also formerly an elite level swimmer and is currently an assistant coach for Royal Swim Team in Culver City. Hayley is certified in the following - Nutrition (ISSA) - Professional rescuer for CPR/First Aid/AED - Safety Training for swim coaches - Athlete Protection training - Concussion Protocol - Coaches advantage - Foundations of coaching - Water Safety Instructor In Regards for Martial Arts in addition to Albert, we have two other coaches who respectively teach Jiu Jitsu and Striking. Our Striking Coach Elan is a former amateur golden glove champion that is nothing short of elite. Our Jiu Jitsu Coach Casey is a brown belt and has spent 2 years training under John Danaher at Renzo Gracie's in NYC.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

We at Turbo Train have always had a huge passion for fitness and everything around it. Once Albert and Hayley both finished their swimming careers their continued to follow their passion for fitness and it has led to teaching others about what we're passionate about.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Recently our founder Albert worked as a choreographer for a big project for a large social media corporation. This involved creating the choreography for specific fitness scenes for multiple sports working with professional athletes. This project took about a month to complete. You can watch the segment in one of our videos!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Finding a good trainer is like matching someone that fits your personality and fitness goals. You need someone who will push you but also understands your limits. Finding the right trainer is like finding a good mechanic, once you meet them and understand the philosophy behind their work you'll understand if they are right for you.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Clients should think about their commitment level to making a change to their fitness. They need to understand that this process will not be easy but if you can persevere you will come out the other side feeling transformed. Think about the frequency in how you'd like to train as well as the specific goals you have that you want to achieve. Having a goal is very important in regards to seeing improvement.
