I teach swimming of all levels, from beginner to competitive swimmer, in my own current controlled Endless Pool heated to a comfortable 90 degrees year round. I am a Red Cross Certified swim instructor and swim coach who's been teaching/coaching for 10+ years. I have taught swimming to people of all ages from 9 months to 60 years old. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

During the first lesson, I like to assess where they are, and use that to determine the lesson plan going forward. I like to focus on their unique individual needs.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am a USA Swimming certified swim coach and instructor who's been teaching/coaching for 10+ years. I have taught all ages from 9 months to 60 years. And, I teach all levels from the beginner to the competitive swimmer.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I started in college as a summer job, and since then have had a passion for teaching swimming of all levels!

I have worked with all ages from infant to 60 years old, and all levels of ability, from beginner to competitive swimming.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure you find a thoughtful coach/instructor, who really cares about the well-being and progress of your child (or yourself?), and is willing to invest the time it takes to figure out how to best serve your swimming needs.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Is this instructor the best match for my child and his/her individual needs and goals? Does he/she truly care about my child's success?
