What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I’m able to offer the highest quality of swim lessons at the lowest cost because I’m working out of a private residential pool. Most facilities have an incredible amount of overhead they have to cover.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Figuring out the goals the parents have for the child and determining what each child is going to need.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have a Masters Degree in Special Education, with over 20+ years of swim experience!

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I’ve been a competitive swimmer since I was 9 years old and started teaching when I was 15 years old! I guess it has kinda stuck with me!

What types of customers have you worked with?

Kids of all ages and abilities!

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I regularly work with children who are afraid to do anything in the water. When consistent with lessons children gain confidence they didn’t know they had! Some children can take a few months to become comfortable and some pick it up in a few weeks.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure they provide a background and they are able to discuss their philosophy/method they typically approach their work with.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

What the end goal for lessons is and if they are committed to the consistency required to get there! Kids don’t learn to swim in a week or two!
