I’m a former Division 1 all american swim athlete who has been teaching swimming for more than 10 years to all age groups. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

*If the location chosen Is a public pool associated with a fee, then client is then responsible for both my entry fee and his/hers

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Typically I like to ask questions pertaining to their strengths and weaknesses when it comes to swimming. I also like to find out what their end goal is and from these answers I can then make a plan on how we'll achieve such goals.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I was on a private swim team for 15 years and received training all the way from elementary school up until college. I have seen all of the various ways one can help train someone in swimming and from that I fine tuned my own coaching style. have taught swim lessons for over 8 years and have had clients see amazing results in their mobility in the water.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I began swimming from as early of an age as 6. Growing up on Long Island, I had easy access to the ocean and to our local pool. This allowed me to learn the difference of how to swim in open water and closed water. Swimming became something I did for more than just exercise it became a de-stresser and one of the best parts of my day. I took up different life guarding jobs just so I could be near and have access to pools more often and began to hone in on my skills. Through these lifeguarding jobs held, I would often see people swimming and would make slight improvements to their stroke, which would then significantly make better progress for them overall. From this, I was able to form relationships with individuals who share a common love for the sport or swimming and teach them whilst at the same time.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have 8 years of experience working with teenagers and adults whether they already have a few years of experience or none at all.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I would tell a customer to know what type of coach they are looking for and to know what goals they are looking to obtain. I specialize in all strokes but mainly sprint.
