Introduction

We love seeing children, youth, and adults improve their skills to swim safer, faster, and more confidently. We enjoy watching swimmers overcome small successes as well as big ones. There is nothing like a child floating on their back for the first time and the grin on their face from ear-to-ear with sense of accomplishment and excitement. Or an athlete who "feels" the water differently and because of it swims a faster 100 pace time or drops 2-3 minutes off their 1000 time. Every step is a success!

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Private lessons cost from $25/lesson up to $40/lesson (based on experience of the teacher). Semi-private lessons (2 students) cost from $35/lesson up to $50/lesson (based on experience of the teacher).

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
During our scheduling process, we ask for your goals and current swimming skills. We pass this on to your instructor, then the lessons begin! 30 minute lessons once or twice a week Same day and time each week

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
All other instructors and coaches are required to continue to work on being better teachers. We have monthly meetings with them to ensure it's happening because we believe it's important.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
All of us are fish at heart. We have a love for the water and want to share our love with others. Seeing our students improve is extremely rewarding.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We've worked with just about every level and age! From infant to 92 year olds, we've taught those who can't even blow bubbles, elite athletes wanting to get a little faster and everything in-between!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Research and know the providers history and experience (see below in the section "What questions should a consumer ask..." for specifics on one of our Swim Academy Coaches). If you are concerned about anything--be it about you or your child's lesson, special needs you or your child may have, what you can expect from the lesson or instructor, or about the provider themselves--be open with asking questions to resolve concerns and find those answers. If you have done your research and feel good about the provider you choose, trust! Trust and let them do their job. You deserve the perfect instructor for you or your child. Make sure your provider is committed to your success.
