What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I believe that my pricing is fair and competitive. I offer discounts for non-profits, and will always look for ways to save my clients money. Average Pricing for services: * Cabling - $150 to $200 per cable (Cabling & Termination, Testing, Labeling). There is no cost for the initial walk-thru. Hardware and other materials are extra. * Computer services - $95 per hour; Remote services are available. * TV Mounting - $150 for the 1st TV. $95 for each additional TV mounted during the same visit. * Security Camera Installations - Refer to cabling pricing above + camera hardware and installation labor. Please ask for a quote.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I like to meet my clients either by phone or in person. If the work is significant, I prefer to visit in person to discuss the scope of the work to be performed. This allows me to give a more accurate estimate, rather than just giving out an amount which may not benefit my client.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

My work ranges from large corporate clients, to small businesses & home users. What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Speak to the provider and give as much information as you can about the problem before agreeing to a quote. Ask for a fair quote based on the problem given. Do not settle for an quote based on the simple explanation entered into Thumbtack. I always ask my clients to contact me so that we can discuss the matter because I do not want to simply give a random cost and end up overcharging the clients. My clients work hard for their money, and they deserve a fair quote.
