Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Our pricing is transparent and tailored to your needs. We offer flat-rate monthly support options for ongoing services, or hourly billing. Discounts are available for nonprofits, veterans, seniors, and bundled service packages. There are no hidden fees, and all costs are discussed upfront.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
We begin with a discovery call to understand your needs and current setup. Next, we conduct an on-site or remote assessment, provide a clear scope of work and proposal, and once approved, begin work promptly. We also offer documentation and ongoing support for all services rendered.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I hold a Master’s degree in Cybersecurity Technology and a Bachelor’s in Cybersecurity (Magna Cum Laude). With over 20 years of experience in IT, network engineering, and security—including work for federal agencies and private businesses—I bring both academic and hands-on expertise to every project.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
My career began in the U.S. Army, where I worked in technology and communications. After leaving the military, I transitioned into federal cybersecurity roles and later founded my own MSP business to bring enterprise-level security and support to small businesses and homeowners.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I've worked with a broad range of clients—residential homeowners, small businesses, nonprofits, restaurants, transportation, schools, and government contractors. Whether it’s setting up WiFi for a family or managing full network infrastructure for a multi-site organization, I tailor solutions to fit each client’s environment.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
One of my favorite projects was securing and optimizing the wireless network for a family-owned campground. The network supports both public guests and private operations using multiple VLANs and point-to-multipoint wireless bridges. The deployment took about two weeks and drastically improved connectivity across the 10-acre site.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Look for providers who take time to understand your needs, not just sell you hardware. A great provider will offer clear documentation, ongoing support, and take a proactive approach to security and performance. Ask about certifications, monitoring options, and how they’ll support you after the install.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Consider the following: + What problems are you trying to solve? + What’s your current setup, and what’s not working? + Are you looking for a one-time fix or ongoing support? + What’s your budget and timeline? Having this clarity will help ensure your provider delivers exactly what you need.
