Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Onsite Services are billed $100 for the first hour and $60 an hour after. We are great at what we do so we end up fixing issues as soon as possible and were priced this way to incentivize techs.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
The best customer is the kind that comes back. Too many businesses choose to suck customers dry and move onto the next. We want you to know that when you choose us well make sure that you are taken care of well after you use our services. We are a part of the community and well never give you a reason to look for another service.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Our owner served as a server administrator for the United States Marine Corps. While enlisted he worked in a team to create server stacks for multiple field exercises and deployments. After the marine corps he did the same work for an engineering company and a large managed service provider. Our employees are all former service members with IT related backgrounds or college educated graduates. We do not believe in turnover, so all of our employees are promoted and trained from the bottom to the top.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Triangle Tech was started in January 2024 when the owner was let go for lack of sales at the managed service provider they worked for. The prices they charged were extreme and some IT companies make as much as 2000% profit on the services they provide. He saw a need for an honest tech company to come in and charge fair prices to force the rest of the market to follow suit.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We work with everyone, young and old, for profit and non-profit. We are experts in what we do and understand that you're working with us for our expertise. There are no size or knowledge requirement to work with us.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
We've recently set up a church with Wi-Fi, they had gotten a few quotes and chose us. When they called us to tell us the first question they asked was "Why is the price so low?" We were surprised to find out that the other companies had quoted three times the price that we did. We did the same job in the same amount of time as our competitors for a third of the price.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Get multiple quotes. Get multiple quotes. Too many companies in this market will use your lack of knowledge against you to overcharge you. Computer repair shops love to lure you in with a low price quote and then charge you more once they have your computer in their hands.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
With most IT related work the biggest thing is to figure out if the service you choose will take care of you or if they're actually lawyers in disguise and will nickel and dime you for everything they can.
