Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Our pricing is transparent and flexible depending on your needs. We offer flat rates for common services, hourly rates for more complex support, and project-based pricing for full-service IT or marketing work. We do not charge hidden fees, and you'll always get a clear estimate before we begin. Discounts may be available for first-time clients, bundled services, or recurring support plans.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
We start by listening—whether through a quick call, message, or form—to understand your needs. Once we’ve confirmed the scope, we provide an estimate and timeline. After approval, we schedule service or begin the project. We stay in communication throughout and follow up after to make sure everything meets your expectations. For ongoing clients, we also offer monthly check-ins and support.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I hold an Associate Degree in Computer and Network Administration, and I’ve completed specialized training in IT support, network configuration, and cybersecurity. Beyond formal education, I’ve spent over two decades hands-on in the field—building secure networks, solving complex tech issues, and adapting to evolving systems and software.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I've been passionate about technology since I was a kid—taking things apart and figuring out how they worked. I started fixing computers for friends and family in my teens, then got my first job at a big-box tech store. Over time, I realized I could offer better, more honest service on my own. That passion turned into a business, and Dalmark Solutions was born to help people and businesses get the tech support they deserve.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I’ve worked with a wide variety of clients, including law offices, medical and dental clinics, construction companies, coworking spaces, insurance agencies, and residential homeowners. Many of my clients are small-to-medium-sized businesses that need reliable IT support, secure networks, or digital marketing solutions. I'm experienced in adapting to each industry’s unique needs—whether that means HIPAA-conscious tech setups for clinics or fast installs for busy contractors.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
A recent project I really enjoyed was working with Hulen Dentistry and Implants. They needed a full IT setup from the ground up, so I installed and configured two on-site servers, set up a secure firewall for their internal network, and integrated a sound system for the entire office. I also installed digital signage on a waiting room PC to display announcements and promotions for patients. The whole setup took about two days, and the result was a smooth-running, modern, and professional environment that supported both their staff and patient experience.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Don’t just look for the cheapest option—look for someone who listens, explains things clearly, and cares about doing it right the first time. Ask questions about their process, the tools they use, and what happens if something goes wrong. Good IT work should be secure, reliable, and transparent. Make sure your provider documents everything and builds systems that are easy for you to understand and manage—not just for them.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
It helps to know what problem you're trying to solve, your timeline, your budget, and whether you need a short-term fix or a long-term solution. Think about what success looks like for you—whether it’s faster internet, a cleaner setup, or fewer tech headaches. The more clear you are about your goals and expectations, the easier it is for a professional to deliver the right solution.
