What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
We enjoy meeting our customers and LISTENING to them. What do they need done? What deadlines exist? We hope to convey to them that we are a trustworthy company and have their best interests in mind at all times.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Technology Expert Engineers have the Formal education, training, and experience to provide the most reliable and technically advanced AV systems. All of our lead techs are CEDIA Certified

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Our expertise is also built on many years of managing home and business electronics and having faced the myriad of challenges that a large volume of installations can bring.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
All types. Having worked for years in the heart of Houston – We have worked with an array of people. Everyone’s case is unique in its own way.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
We went to evaluate and figure out how to deal with weak and unreliable WiFi at our customers home. The provider just kept telling them that they needed more speed which meant more $$$. As it is an old colonial house - so lots of small rooms, halls = tons of lathe and plaster. The result for WiFi was weak signal bouncing around. After we installed the new WiFi system (without changing WiFi speed!) they have solid connectivity. Kids can do their gaming and videos while our customers can do Skype/Hangout/Zoom meetings and other work. With no further issues

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
We would tell them to look at the quality of each companies workmanship with whoever it is you will give your business to. Make sure that they are using the proper tool and materials for your scope of work. For example, When concealing wires in your home, a Low Voltage bracket should be used when making a hole for concealment, and then a wire port plate should be used to cover the Low Voltage bracket , Many contractors just make a hole and cover it up with a cable plate. We realize this and work hard to ensure that you feel like our only customer. And while we realize that this is a business agreement we want to take stress and tension out of the equation and build a friendship throughout the process. The last thing you want is someone lacking the necessary skills and possibly damaging your hard earned possessions

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
The customer should have the following list to ask all contractors: 1) What materials are you going to use to conceal my wiring 2) How will you conceal my wiring 3) Are you licensed? (depending on state you live in) 4) Are you insured or bonded? (General liability etc.)
