Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Our pricing is very fair. We are not the most or the least expensive, just somewhere in the middle. We are actually cheaper than Best Buy and you get much more personal service. We do consider the size of the job when offering pricing, so larger volumes of work do receive lower pricing per item. All of our products and services include ongoing customer support.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
We like to start every job with a FREE video consultation! We like to do a site-survey whenever possible. If it's not possible we would like to see your plans for the project. This allows us to prioritize the needs and wants of the customer and understand any issues unique to the home or business. We prefer to present our estimates in person whenever possible. When it is not possible or convenient to meet to review the estimate together, we will schedule a time to review the quote together over the phone. We Do Not email the quotes without an accompanying phone appointment. We don't expect the first draft to be the version that gets implemented. We expect feedback from the client so that we can tailor a proposal to meet the client's specific needs. Once we agree on the scope of work, we will ask for a deposit to begin acquiring materials and secure the installation date on the schedule. We will then perform the installation according to the scope of work. We will ask the customer to inspect the work and give feedback. After we all agree that the scope has been completed, we will then ask for final payment. If you read all of this then let me say a special thank-you!

What types of customers have you worked with?

We do a lot of commercial work for high-tech businesses with a good budget for video-conferencing. Big businesses understand that any system that can offset the annual cost of airfare is worthwhile indeed! We also do a lot of digital signage for businesses who understand they can be green and cut costs at the same time by installing flat-screens with a content management system. We also do Complete Home Theater projects for residential customers including furniture, drapery and lighting. We get a lot of calls for "come hang my TV" but we really excel way beyond that!

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
In the summer of 2018 we helped a family get settled in a new home in Leander. They had a nice home theater in their previous home so we helped them utilize some existing speakers. We updraded the new home theater to ATMOS which is a new array of sound arrangement that emits from the speakers in a spatial arrangement in the room which gives the viewing experience much more reality. Things will actually seem to fly by! We installed lights in all the right places including LED wafer lights (today's can lights) and sconces that dimmed from the Universal Remote Control. We installed LED ambient backlighting behind the screen to wash the wall behind the 120" projector screen. We wall-mounted TVs and soundbars all over the house. We automated the home with motorized deadbolts and Nest thermostats. The outcome of the project was fantastic and the family was extremely happy and excited about their new home!

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Every customer should think about designating a location for storage of components. Unless we designate a great place, or a piece of furniture or a closet for storage of components, it will be difficult to make everything neat and tidy. In addition, that becomes the destination for all cabling. We sell audio video specific furniture with cooling systems that are perfect for housing your components. We also sell racks, which is also used for storage of components but is a more utilitarian approach.
