What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Each student learns differently and I emphasize a team based approach (student-instructor-parents-school teachers) built around positive reinforcement and assessments that identify the teaching that will be most effective with each individual student. After the initial meeting, I will then create a curriculum for each student based on my assessments. As we continue our sessions, I provide a lesson plan each week and continue to monitor my student’s progress.

I have been teaching academic, test-prep, and study skills to my students for 10+ years. I am also a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I began working with a group of students in college (Washington University in St. Louis) and made them believe in their abilities. It was an amazing experience and why I love education, helping students succeed! I am a driven teacher who inspires my students to love learning. I recognize each student's talents and push for academic excellence.

I work with K-12, college level, and international students. I teach my students the necessary foundation to be successful as they advance into high school and beyond. I work closely with the local teachers and schools to reinforce the techniques being taught in the classroom.
