Introduction

Hi, my name is June. I am a full-time tutor. I have over 20 years of experience as a classroom instructor and as an online tutor in various subjects. I am very patient and work well with children and adult students as well. I have a Master's degree in Psychology. I use principles of human’s learning behavior, cognitive process, and memory mechanism in teaching and creating a curriculum. My teaching style depends on the student. In other words, I change my teaching techniques to fit the level and personality of each student. I enjoy teaching. It makes me happy to see my students understand the material, improve their grades and pass their exams, or be able to apply their new knowledge to accomplish their goals. ■ Lesson Subjects■ I offer JAPANESE lessons and MATH lessons. ● Japanese - Basic, intermediate, and advanced levels of Japanese - Speaking, listening, and writing Japanese - Preparation for the JLPT exam (N1, N2, N3, N4, and N5) - Japanese for traveling - Japanese for working in Japan - Japanese for anime/manga - Japanese/English translation - Japanese culture - Japanese Conversation Sessions (Please see at the end of my profile section.) ● Math - Pre-Algebra - Algebra 1 - College Algebra - SAT/ACT (only Math) - GED (only Math) - GRE (only Math) - ASVAB (only Math and Arithmetic) If you have any questions or concerns before hiring me, please feel free to contact me. June For Japanese Learners: ◆Japanese Conversation Session◆ Conversation Sessions are available for students who like to practice their Japanese by talking to other students or native Japanese speakers. I myself will also stay on Zoom during the session to monitor and guide through the conversation, provide vocabulary, or explain phrases as necessary. This is a great opportunity for students to test their acquired knowledge in real-life conversation as well as to benefit from learning how native speakers talk.
