What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We offer flat hourly rates and a variety of Academic Tutoring, Test Prep, and College Counseling Packages that fit every budget! We also provide referral discounts. So, just give us a call, and we can talk more!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

When beginning with new students, we also want to learn as much as possible, and this starts with a FREE 30 Minute Consultation Call. This is especially important when designing a personal College Counseling plan to maximize your potential! For Academic Tutoring and Test Prep, we offer Diagnostic Tests and a wealth of resources to ensure the identification of strengths and weaknesses and improve scores.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Our Leadership Team has a combined 56+ years of experience in Tutoring and Test Prep & College Counseling, with students accepted into the Ivy League, Oxbridge, Stanford, MIT, Cal-Tech, and other Top 50 Universities.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Our Founder Michael Gao began tutoring and counseling after high school, when he realized that the processes was often unnecessarily confusing and difficult. Our team of Ivy League Tutors and Counselors personally knows the late nights stressing over HW, the SAT/ACT, and College Applications without guidance. Now, we want to be there for you, so you ALWAYS have someone in your corner!

What types of customers have you worked with?

We've worked with all kinds of students with all kinds of goals - whether that means aiming improving their GPA or SAT/ACT Score, entering the Ivy League, or entering a local school in-state. Sometimes, students just don't know what they should do! That's why our process always includes creating individual plans tailored to exactly what they need.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Look for an Ivy League Tutor or College Counselor who can connect with your student. Your student already has teachers at school, and if you're here, they aren't working. Personal connections really matter. Good teachers aren't the ones who master the material; they are the ones who know their students the best. Writing college essays are also deeply personal; they are about really important stories in a student's life. As our near-peer mentors are just a few years older than your student, they know exactly how to make the most out of every situation!
