My 40 years as a psychotherapist will help you develop these skills which will allow you to manifest your dreams. Many of my clients have described our sessions as a friend guiding them to a happier place in their life. I do my sessions through Zoom or by phone allowing you to have the comfort and privacy of your own surroundings. I typically use a variety of counseling techniques in addition to some "homework" between sessions which helps to keep you moving toward your desired goal. Life throws us a lot of curve balls including the death of loved ones, health problems, job losses, relationship issues, financial hardships and difficulties raising our children. I have had personal experience in all of these areas which allows me to better understand your current emotional, physical, spiritual and intellectual challenges. I also have a podcast with a listenership of over 5,000 where I connect listeners with other professionals so they can find a healthier mind/body balance in their life. The content of this show is an additional resource for clients using my services. ON A FINAL NOTE: I DON'T accept insurance but I am willing to work with people on a discounted rate for multiple sessions. I also offer a military discount.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I charge a flat fee of $125 per hour and offer customized 4 week packages at a discounted rate for clients who book at least the 4 sessions. Payments are made through Zelle or Venmo .

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I have been a therapist for over 40 years specializing in anxiety, depression,grief and bereavement and relationship issues. In this past year, Covid did a number on all of us and losses have been experienced by everyone from the death of loved ones to job losses, home displacement, friends and family separations and school issues. Health has also been impacted and finances devastated. I work with my clients in a holistic way that addresses their emotional, physical, mental and spiritual needs where they will find the tools they need to live their best life in today's every changing world.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I hold a Masters of Arts Degree in Family Therapy from Lindenwood University. I have received advanced training in PTSD, Anxiety and Depression, Stress Management, Suicide Prevention, Understanding Grief and Loss and Talking to Children about Grief and Loss. I have been a national speaker for several large organizations and founded a program for widows and widowers. I was also a Grant Recipient for "The Thinker's Edge" program to reduce recidivism. Additionally.I currently consult with families who have health related problems along with their mental health issues and I'm the host for the "Synergy Connection Show" on Spotify, iHeart Radio, Google Radio and Apple Podcast.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I was always interested in helping others and originally started out as a nursing student. I quickly realized I was more interested in how thoughts worked to create a person's reality than the physical workings of the human body. I later began to understand how it was all related and the importance of balancing our life.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I work with people of all ages. Every age has it's own unique issues and sometimes we simply need a little help to get unstuck. My goal has always been to give someone the tool or tools they need to move ahead with their life.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

My most recent project is The Synergy Connection Show which is a national podcast. I love connecting amazingly talented individuals with the podcast world so they can tell their story and what they are most passionate about in their own life. If we help just one person find an answer to something, we have done our job!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I would suggest looking for a person with a strong professional background, advanced training and the ability to take the journey with you. Life teaches all of us lessons and the more life we have lived, the more opportunities we have had to learn some of those lessons.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

I think it helps if the person is clear within themselves about what they want to accomplish with their sessions. Ask yourself what you want your life to look like when you are done with your sessions. I can provide a wonderful roadmap to help you arrive at your new destination but it will be beneficial if you know what you want once you are there.
