Introduction

Greetings, Thank you for visiting my profile. I’m Curt, a former chef turned life and career strategist, and I’m here to help you overcome the roadblocks holding you back. Enter the "Recipe," my battle-tested formula that’s helped me and countless others break through personal and professional barriers. Chefs know how to master recipes for success, and I’ve taken that same precision to create a framework that works—every time. This isn’t some generic advice; it’s a strategic approach fine-tuned through my own experiences and those of my clients. My background as a chef is the secret sauce to my method. In the kitchen, every ingredient matters, and missing just one can ruin the dish. Life is no different. Right now, you’re missing the right ingredients—that’s why you’re feeling stuck. But here’s the good news: you don’t have to stay that way. My 4-step "Recipe" program gives you the structure you need with the flexibility to customize it to your unique situation. Just like crafting a dish, each step builds upon the last to deliver a powerful transformation—your desired outcome. **Don’t just take my word for it—hear it from my clients:** "My relationship with my family is better." "I feel reinvigorated." "My wife has noticed a difference in me, and I feel more present for my kids." "I have more clarity and confidence about my future." "Unlike other coaches, you are genuine, no BS, and get right to the point." "You're easy to open up to." Stop settling for less. Send me a message now, and let’s tackle those roadblocks head-on.** Why wait any longer to get the life you want? Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
I have different tiered pricing. 1-hour sessions available ala carte. My 1:1 signature coaching program that lasts 10 weeks.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
First we start with a call to learn more about each other to see if we are a fit. If we are, then the following occurs: -If it is a one-off session: We organize a time to meet. You'll answer some questions in advance. We conduct the session and get you your answers. If it is my signature, 10-week 1:1 program: Everything is about personalized service and support. -Upon joining, you'll receive access to my program immediately. -I will conduct a 1:1 orientation with you to make sure you're comfortable and have your questions answered. -You'll be provided with my WhatsApp number, and you'll have access to me M-F. -The two of us will meet once per week, for 10 weeks. -I provide you with a sheet to document your progress each week. I monitor your progress and we work through your challenges to ensure you are making progress. -I am always available and will provide you with support. Working with me is not a customer/business relationship. It is a partnership. Just as you are investing in me, I am investing in you. -I know most people don't like asking for help, let alone opening up. Been there, done that. So, my priority is providing you with a safe space where you feel comfortable talking. I am no therapist, and I don't conduct our sessions that way. The way I've had clients describe my sessions is like two people just chatting and sorting out roadblocks, with one of them being a mentor. What can you expect to experience working with me? As you go through the program, you'll start getting answers to questions. You'll get direction. You'll overcome fears and limiting beliefs. As this happens your self-esteem, self-worth, and self-confidence will increase more and more. Consequently, your mental health and quality of life will improve.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I don't have a fancy certificate. Nowadays anyone can take a course online, and get a certificate. Nothing wrong with formal education, but for these roadblocks that appear in our lives, I ask: Do you want someone with only theoretical knowledge helping you? Or, do you want someone with lived experience, who has walked in your shoes, who has gone through the transformation you are seeking, and used a proven method to help others? It's worth noting, I am not a therapist. I do inner work with people, but I do not do any deep work related to trauma, deep seated fears or similar matters. My focus is on people who are ready to be coached, and move forward.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I went through a very difficult time in life that lasted about four years. At the time I remember thinking, "I am educated, very successful and intelligent. How am I not prepared to deal with some of these roadblocks in life?" We aren't taught how to handle some of these challenges that show up in life. I learned everything the hard way because I never asked for help. There is no reason for things to be that hard, so I want to help others, and show them there is a much faster and easier way. Here is my story: By age 39 I accomplished all of my goals, both personally and professionally. I was a very successful, award-winning chef. One day it hit me. I was sitting in my office thinking, "Is this it? What's next?" I had no more mountains to climb. I had always known what I wanted. Now I didn't. I was soo career and accomplishment driven, that my career was my identity. When my passion for my career died, I didn't know what to do or how to handle it. I fell apart. I was stagnant for the next four years. I gained 50 pounds, was burned out, drank excessively, was depressed, had anxiety, and was just a walking shell of myself. That four years cost me $250,000. I was angry at the universe, blaming everyone else and played the victim. I never asked for help, partly because of my ego, and partly because I didn't understand why I felt the way I did, so I didn't know who to turn to. I felt hopeless, helpless and isolated. My life dream was gone and I saw no hope of a better future. I even gave up on myself for some time. During that time, I didn't dream about money, cars or a nice house. I just wanted to get back to my old confident self who could conquer any mountain. One morning I had a realization that changed my life for the better. I realized we all have a choice. We can choose to play the victim, or we can choose to be positive and focus on what we can control. I chose the latter of the two. Then, I did what I once thought impossible: I created an even better next chapter. Found a better career, more balanced life, better pay, and the meaning, purpose and fulfillment I had been missing. I got my MOJO back. The sense of pride I had from hitting rock bottom, weathering the storm, and coming out the other side to find my pot of gold cannot be put into words. I am most proud that I took the darkest, most difficult period in my life and use it to improve the quality of others' lives. When I was a chef, my food made people happy, so I made a brief impact on their life. Doing what I do now is life changing. That is how I got started doing this type of work.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I worked with a 47-year old marketing executive. He, like many of my clients was so career driven that his relationship with his wife and kids was suffering. His marriage had become transactional, and loveless. He lacked fulfillment, and was just going through the motions in life. He had been laid off and didn't know what to do next. We worked together and here is some of his feedback: His relationship with himself and his family improved. He doesn't see fear as insurmountable as he once did. Feels more confident. His career is not his identity. He feels more present with his family. Has more balance in life and is no longer burned out. He used to dread waking up. Now he wakes up excited about his life. He was an example of my ideal client. He was willing to put in the work, and went at it all in. The project took 10 weeks.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Understand why you're hiring a coach. -To gain emotional support -To work with someone who's been in your shoes, and can relate to your situation. -To increase your knowledge. -To better understand yourself. -To arm yourself with more tools to handle life's roadblocks. -Most importantly, speed. Working with a coach drastically speeds up the learning process. -Don't make the mistake soo many do, thinking you can figure out everything on your own by watching YouTube videos or reading books. Hiring a coach requires inner work, and you won't be able to spot your blind spots and biases like a coach can. -You must be willing to put in the work. -Be open minded. -Don't let your ego get in the way. Don't be afraid to ask for help. Asking for help is not failure. Remaining where you are is. Understand that a coach is not a therapist. A therapist is for dealign with trauma, or deep seated issues. A coach is for those ready to move forward.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Are you/Do you: -Willing to put your ego aside? -Open-minded? -Willing to put in the work? -Have a desire to improve yourself? -"READY?" Many people want to change, or know they need to change, but that is not the same as being "ready." So, are you "READY to make a change, and improve your life?
