What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Schedule a time to meet them. Take time to understand their needs and make sure to answer all their questions. Ensure them that they can always reach out if they have more questions. Once their requirements are clear, let them know when they will receive their quote. Let them know the quote will include all their requirements and timeline to complete. Then if they accept, will contact them to schedule the work according to their timeline.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Have always enjoyed working with my hands. Started laying flooring in 1996 and then expanded over time into more carpentry work.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Repaired home that had flood damage. Replaced drywall and flooring through out the whole house. The flooring was a nice wood like laminate.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Always get 3 quotes. It is worth your time to meet with 3 different companies to get the different perspectives. Compare price and understand the differences is it material differences or just one charges more per hour. Evaluate their customer service mindset. Do they take the time when evaluating what you are requesting or are they rushed. Quality. Do they warranty their work and how long. Insurance. Do they have adequate insurance to cover your project. If you take the time to ask these questions your choice will be clear.
