What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We offer different pricing options according to the clients needs and financial capabilities. 1. Specialty High-end luxury custom cabinets and furniture: for this type of job we use the very best top quality wood and materials from Dixie-ply. Our price starts at $850-$1200 a linear foot . These jobs include material. This option is for those seeking top of the line and luxury custom work. 2. Custom cabinets and furniture; here we use good quality wood and unfinished cabinets to customize to clients detailed preferences. We charge material separately and labor by the hour to build and install project. This a more cost effective method for those seeking a “custom” look. 3. Everything else under the sun including but not limited to: drywall, painting, shiplap, tile work, remodel jobs, , crown molding, baseboards, trim, panels , refacing , miscellaneous wood work etc. prices start at $65/hr to $100/hr or prices by the job

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I like to ask customers questions about what they need done and what type of project they have in mind. I like to have a clear understanding of their needs and expectations. I may suggest the clients send photos of ideas pertaining to the desired design and style. If a custom art and design are needed , I have a design team on call. We can set up an appointment to see the site in person or remotely via video chat. Thereafter I can prepare an estimate to send to the client with in a 24-48 hr period depending on the size of the project.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have over 20 yrs of experience in my field. I am a master builder with an extensive knowledge in carpentry, custom building and installation.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

As a kid my grand uncle was a cabinet maker, so I saw it growing up . Family used to tell me how much I was like my builder and carpenter uncles. I grew up with it and always loved it . When I came to the U.S. I learned to do wood work in NY . Later, I came to Florida and learned dry wall work , remodeling and construction. Soon after I finessed the craft of making custom home theaters. Doing custom furniture work would be what I enjoy doing the best.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I can work with all types of customers. I mostly do work in high rise residential buildings and residential neighborhoods. I have done commercial work as well for companies and offices.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I would recommend customers get a feel for the professional they are hiring. Take the time to ask how much experience the professional has in their field. Get photos of multiple projects done that relate to what the client needs. After the initial conversation, the client should feel happy and confident with the information provided by the professional before hiring them. I believe it is important for the customer to feel very good overall about the work they want done and have a good line of communication between the two parties.
