What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My hourly pricing is fixed. I have a minimum call out time of 2 hours. For larger jobs, I would be happy to negotiate a fixed price for the work. Let's chat!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

For new customers, a quick chat over the phone to learn about your job if the first step. If after that it seems like I can help you, I will schedule a time to either come and complete the work or for larger projects, come and take a look in person to get a better understanding of whats involved.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have nearly 20 years experience in residential construction and handyman work, along with BA in business.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

During college I worked as a stone mason. After college, I decided I much preferred working with my hands so kept going down that route!

What types of customers have you worked with?

Mostly residential customers but a few commercial ones for some painting work.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I built a wood privacy fence for a couple so their dogs had more freedom to run outside and exercise. Seeing how much the pups loved their new lifestyle was great! From start to finish, the project took around 2 weeks

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Talk to them first! It's not always easy having a stranger in your home so spend a little time chatting to someone to make sure you feel comfortable. And ask to see pictures of similar work where possible.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Do they have a budget in mind? What's the timeline they would like it completed in?
