What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My prices are all based on time and material needed to complete each job. I charge no fee's other than for what the job calls for which will be laid out in full before starting. That being said all jobs are subject to change and vary on size and scope, these details would be addressed and agreed upon by both parties before moving forward.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Free in person estimate to discuss the project details and scopes of work. This is followed by a detailed written estimate with prices on all various scopes of work. if hired we set a scheduled start date in which I will be present everyday until job is done.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Apprenticed for 3 years under a 35 year tile veteran. I worked as a main tile installer and bathroom remodeler for 10+ years at Palermo Tile Kitchen and Bath in NY. Started my own LLC in 2017 and have worked for builders and independent customers since.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I started right out of high school, apprenticing under a 35year tile veteran who was kind enough to get me started but tough enough to never let me forget my mistakes.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with people of all walks of life. I have done projects in small apartments and trailers to million dollar homes and businesses. I also prioritize first come first serve so even my big projects will be scheduled in there fair time slot.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Most of my projects are all pretty consistent. I prefer remodeling full bathrooms but I also don't mind trying to work with a customers budget price to give them something they'll enjoy.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure they are reputable. Scan reviews, check there Facebook pages or websites. Ask for insurances if it seems the work could cause a liability issue. Talk to your contractor face to face, get to know them a little before trusting them to do your project.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Think about what you want the finish product to look like and what might go into it looking as such. Some things get more complicated when doing a project so be mindful of certain possibilities. I also like to remind customers that the kind of work being done is normally pretty expensive so be sure to love whatever your choosing to use.
