What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

No standard pricing, depends on the job. all depends on what type of install method

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Qualify area for the customer, match up the right product with the right area as far as wear and tear, looks ,durability.also budget

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Born into the business. Third generation. Gone to many different schools. For example Armstrong school linoleum. Mohawk school for wood. Ongoing training over the years of how to install and what's new I can install linoleum, I can install real wood floors. Also can install laminate flooring, Engineered wood. Porcelain tile. Carpet Since I've been in this trade for many years I can pretty much do anything in a house

How did you get started doing this type of work?

My family owned a flooring, furniture business from 1932 to 1991. I am third generation, born into flooring business Started as a helper, then an apprentice now a master installer, with over 45 years of experience. I can install all types of flooring All my installations, are done with Craftsmanship and pride. As I was taught by my mentors

What types of customers have you worked with?

Everybody from every day people, to very high-end homes, to some very large commercial jobs. Now I concentrate on the small jobs, that nobody seems to want out here. Or will take the time to do it correctly

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Wrapped four pillars, with a ledge stone. All four corners lined up all the way around. Did four columns took a week but amazing job in the end

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure the contractor, listens to your wants and needs, and has you vision in mind. So you can get exactly what your wishing for. That's what your paying for....

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

How long will I be happy with the product,...color,style,texture Is this for me (home owner) or for resale in a year or so. When asking contractor for a quote, ask to break out the Materials in quote.... so you can compare Apple's to apples... That's why I am just labor these days, That way you get to find the best price you can..
