Introduction

So why should you hire us? Here's what I say when asked what makes us different. 1. As you can see we are very highly rated. That's just not here on Thumbtack, we have plenty of reviews on Facebook, Nextdoor, Google and Angi as well. We HAD over 300+ on Google until it was deleted somehow. Nevermind that, our customers reviews can attest to how good we are. 2. With some of the larger companies you are at the luck of the draw with technicians. You may get the guy that's been there 10 years, or you may get the new guy. Not that they're bad, it's just they're larger and that's what comes with the territory. With us you get me or my son on the van EVERY time. Both of us have been doing this just short of 10 years. 3. Since we use low moisture, your carpets are going to dry pretty fast. Usually about 90 minutes or so. The agitation of our machines also lifts the pile of the carpet leaving it looking fuller and fluffy. 4. Finally, we want satisfied long term clients, not one time cleanings. We offer you a 14 Day Satisfaction Guarantee. If a spot pops back up or the smell we treated didn't quite go away, just call us. Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Our pricing here on Thumbtack is based on a per area cost for our Standard Cleaning Service. We charge $60 per area up to 150 sf. When we arrive we will measure the rooms you want to have cleaned and divide by 150 for the area room count. It's that basic. Each set of stairs counts as 1 area. Our Standard Cleaning is everything you need to take care of spots and stains and even some odors. If you have extreme situations like heavy soiling or pet urine we do have upgraded packages that we offer to take care of those situations. We also offer Hardwood Floor Cleaning, Upholstery Cleaning, Tile and Grout Cleaning and Offsite Area Rug Cleaning.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Most clients ask if we do onsite estimates. While we can do this, we typically will measure everything you want cleaned before we begin any cleaning service and give you all of your options up front. Your technician will recommend what they feel is needed for the best cleaning depending on the condition of your carpets. The final decision is up to the client, we do not hard sell anyone, only educate and let you make an informed decision.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

We attend annual trade shows and complete training offered by the IICRC. ProDry requires all techs with the company at least one year to become IICRC Certified Carpet Cleaning Technicians. Staying on top of the current trends is how we feel we can give our customers the best service in the Cincinnati area.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I recently had a service call to clean some carpet for a client. While doing my measurements I noticed a large pink stain on one of her sofa cusions. She had spilled nail polish on the front of her sofa over two years ago and had been living with the stain. She had tried with over the counter products to get the stain out and decided it was permanent and would have to live with it. I asked her if she would let me try to get it out and she agreed to give me a try. After a little elbow grease and our secret sauces (lol) what do you know, out came the stain! One more happy client that I know will be coming back when it's time for her carpets to be cleaned again!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure you are dealing with a reputable company. This is an easy business to get into, so there are a lot of fly by night companies out there. Can you get your carpets cleaned for cheap? Yes, you can. But remember the saying, you get what you pay for. There is a reason that those cleaners can charge you so little for your cleaning, no overhead. By that I mean, no insurance, no bond, no workers comp insurance. Guess who's on the line if that cleaner injures themselves in your home? That's right, you are. So be careful. Quality is what you are looking for in a service provider. Your home is probably your most expensive investment. Would you trust a fly by night mechanic to service your BMW? Probably not, then why would you let one service your home.
