What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

When we install three or four different products in one home, the prices go down versus just doing the hardwood or just doing the ceramic. When we do a combination of these products we give better prices than if they were just by themselves

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Finding out what their needs are and then give them a free on-site estimate. Going over details about what needs to be done and a lot of times what they can do to save them money.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Different certifications, numerous seminars, and 35 years experience.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I started flooring work in 1984 under professional guidance.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Mostly residential customers although we have done commercial jobs and a few different hotel projects

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Removed an old fiberglass shower unit and built a new shower. Installed new ceramic on floors and walls. This is my art, not just a job. We even had to put in a new drain and cap off the faucet that was going into the old fiberglass bathtub and create an air vent for proper water drainage

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Experience and following manufacturers recommendations on installation of the product. If a product isn’t installed according to these specifications the warranty is void. It’s also very important that the contractor has both general liability and workers compensation insurance. We provide certificates of insurance upon request.

1 - Where you are in your project and let us know so that we know what to expect when quoting. 2 - Is this a project that I am serious about having done or do I just need an idea of costs involved. If you just need information please add that to your request.
