It mainly depends on the size of the project. Usually the type of tile will not affect labor pricing unless it is something very rare.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I would like to see the area where work will be performed, preferably in person but pictures may be enough. Then, understand their ideas and start to plan from there.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

What type of tile they would like to use, if they are going to make any structural modifications to the job area, if they would like the shower to be curb-less or normal, etc.
