What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We love to work on bulk purchases; the bigger the job, the more economic our pricing!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

One of our experts will come and show you our beautiful selection of flooring in your own home, and will happily educate and provide our all-inclusive pricing quote!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Everyone who works for FCI is required to pass a fully encompassing knowledge course, both consultants and installers. Everyone who will be coming into your home will be fully licensed and insured up to $1mil.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

We all have experience in flooring and construction. When our franchise owner, Johnnie, saw the opportunity to provide the #1 customer rated flooring service in North America, he was excited to start the franchise!

What types of customers have you worked with?

We have worked with customers of all different backgrounds, requiring projects of all different shapes and sizes. We even offer as little as 0% down and 0% APR financing for qualified buyers, so we can work with everyone!

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

We recently finished a job for a nonprofit women's clinic, and were able to provide a seamless and wonderful experience every step of the way. Even that large commercial space only took our crew a couple days from start to finish!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

My recommendation to any customer is to shop around and get multiple quotes, and have us review our competitor's quotes before signing. More often than not, people in the space will leave a critical step (such as subfloor prep) off the initial ticket to earn the business, then will add it on after the fact. This leads to an unhappy experience and more money spent than originally budgeted for. I am always happy to review; and if you are truly getting a great deal elsewhere, I am even more happy to tell you so!

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

- Are my significant other and I on the same page about what we want? (This is typically the biggest hurdle!) - Am I knowledgeable enough about the cost of what I am looking for? (Very often, customers will look at the price of the material online and will have unrealistic expectations for the final installed amount. We have to pay our installers too! There is subfloor prep/leveling involved, removal and haul away of old materials, additional required materials such as padding for carpet or underlayment for hard surface, cleaning and installation, and more.)
