What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We provide upfront competitive pricing. We have financing available to include 12 months same as cash. We work with the customer to identify the scope of the project

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We typically start with an in-home consultation which includes measuring and shopping for the floor as we bring all the samples to you. After the customer selects their new flooring, we manage the ordering and installation of the product for the customer.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

We go through over 200 hours of training and then continue with continuous education.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

After serving in the Marine Corps and two decades of working for global IT/Software/eCommerce, I wanted to return to serving my local communities. I identified a franchise that had similar values to my own, and that was Floor Coverings International. With the national franchisor supporting me, not only do I have the connections and training to deliver a great customer experience, I know I have first-in-class products. I'm excited to help my customers with their flooring projects.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I work with all types of customers, especially working families here in Central Texas who want to have beautiful new flooring in their homes. I also work with builders and businesses to assist with their flooring problems.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Replacing your flooring is a construction project and going with the lowest bid has led to projects not being completed or being done poorly. According to the Better Business Bureau, 4 out of 5 projects that they had complaints on are those that went with the lowest bid. Work with a company that has accountability. As a franchisee of Floor Coverings International not only does our staff go through training, we are held to higher standards.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

- How will your project impact your daily life? - Are you still in the home when the work will be done? - Are you looking for natural flooring like wood? if so, those must be at your home to acclimatize for around 10 days as they contract and expand. - Do you want to work with someone who has direct relationships with flooring manufacturers?
