Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Our estimates are always free! All of our customers receive complementary design assistance to help their vision become reality! Customer satisfaction is guaranteed - we'll make sure you're fully satisfied with our work before closing out the project. We follow a transparent pricing structure - including detailed breakdowns of fees, labor costs, materials, permits, and any additional expenses so you know what you pay for. Our rates are competitive - we offer great value without compromising quality! We offer flexible payment options that help accommodate your budgetary needs - we have payment plans and financing options for larger projects and offer special discounts depending on project size that help make our services more accessible to customers.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
When a customer reaches out, our team will gather details about their project and schedule a time to come see it in person and provide an estimate. During the estimate process we collect information about the project scope, size, materials, and process including the customer's specific goals, budget, and timeline. We take all of this together to create a solid estimate that's reasonable and as close to the true final cost as possible and share it with the customer within 24 - 48 hours. If it's agreeable, we'll schedule the work and coordinate with the customer on getting started as soon as possible.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I managed and source home improvement workers for three large personal projects in the past. The experience was painful, stressful, costly, and outright terrifying! I loved the potential of every project and envisioning the great results at the end, but the process was a nightmare and I wished there was someone I could trust that would help me see these projects through and for a reasonable price. With a degree and background in business I sought to start a remodeling service that makes the entire process from start to finish easy, predictable, enjoyable, affordable, and without unpleasant surprises. This way I get to enjoy the work while my customers never have to face the hardships of managing it all by themselves.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I worked primarily with new home owners of all stages of life, from the newly married couple who's starting a family and moving into their new home, to the retired couple that's relocating to be closer to their grandkids. Much of the projects we focused on have been home renovation, bringing old and outdated but charming homes into new trends that are personal to the customer. I've also done some work on commercial offices.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
A recent project was renovating a small home for a retired couple - they relocated after living in the same home for 20 years and were excited about the possibility of making some updates that will remain relevant and nice 20 years forward. We retiled the whole house using beautiful wood-plank looking tile, we restructured and opened the kitchen installing a spacious center island which really opened up the kitchen/living area and we repainted the house giving it a fresh facelift. It turned out great and they were thrilled to be making the move!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Take your time to do your research, ask for recommendations and get multiple quotes to compare. Check out any reviews or references. Of course, always meet the contractor(s) in person and get to know them - trust your instincts!

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
What is the scope of your project? What is your budget? What are your goals and priorities? Are there any time constraints? What are your design preferences? Are there any challenges or limitations? (like HOA rules, permits and city regulations), How involved do you want to be?
