What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing reflects the quality, professionalism, and care we bring to every job. We provide detailed, line-item estimates based on in-person consultations—no ballpark guesses.
We offer:
Discounts for multi-unit projects (duplexes, triplexes, apartments)
Bundled pricing for full-scope remodels
Transparent change order policy to avoid surprises
We’re not the cheapest, and we don’t aim to be—we focus on getting the job done right, safely, and up to code the first time.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our process is designed to keep things clear, smooth, and professional from start to finish:
Initial Call or Thumbtack Message – We ask a few key questions to understand your goals, budget, and timeline.
On-Site Consultation – For serious projects, we schedule a walk-through to evaluate the space and discuss design ideas, layout options, and scope.
Detailed Estimate – You’ll receive a clear, itemized proposal outlining materials, labor, and timeline. No hidden costs or vague quotes.
Design & Planning (if needed) – For larger remodels, we assist with layout, finish selections, and permitting.
Construction – We handle all project management, inspections, and cleanup. We show up on time, communicate often, and take care of your home like it’s our own.
Final Walkthrough & Follow-Up – We walk the job with you to ensure everything meets your expectations.
We believe great projects start with great communication—and we’re here to guide you every step of the way.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our team brings a combination of formal training, field experience, and ongoing education in construction best practices, safety, and code compliance.
We’re licensed general contractors with years of hands-on experience in:
Residential and multi-family remodeling
ADA-compliant design and curbless shower systems
Interior/exterior finishes, tile, framing, and electrical coordination
We’ve worked alongside architects, engineers, and city inspectors to execute complex remodels and structural upgrades.
We stay current with local building codes, permit regulations, and modern building standards to ensure every project is done right the first time—safe, clean, and built to last.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Brocha Construction was built from the ground up—literally. Our founder started in the trades, working on framing crews and remodeling projects early on, learning the craft hands-on before becoming a licensed general contractor.
What started as a passion for building evolved into a commitment to doing things right: with quality, care, and respect for each homeowner’s vision. We launched Brocha Construction to bring that same mindset to every job—big or small—and to deliver work we can be proud of.
Today, we’ve grown into a trusted remodeling and construction company serving Tacoma, Seattle, and surrounding areas, always guided by our values: built strong, crafted with care.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We’ve worked with a wide range of clients throughout the Tacoma and Seattle area, including:
Homeowners planning full kitchen and bathroom remodels
Families needing ADA upgrades like curbless showers and accessibility improvements
Investors and property managers remodeling multi-unit buildings and rental properties
Realtors and sellers prepping homes for market
First-time homeowners navigating their first major renovation
Whether it’s a single-family home, duplex, or apartment building, we tailor each project to fit the client’s goals, timeline, and budget—always delivering clean, high-quality results.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
One project we’re especially proud of was a full ADA-compliant home remodel for a client who owns a residential care home for people with disabilities in the Federal Way area.
The goal was to create a space that was both safe and comfortable for residents with mobility challenges. We remodeled the entire home to meet accessibility standards—including a curbless shower with grab bars and bench seating, widened doorways for wheelchair access, slip-resistant flooring, and thoughtful layout changes to improve safety and ease of movement.
The project took around 7 weeks, from demolition to final walkthrough. It wasn’t just a renovation—it was about creating a home where people could feel secure, supported, and cared for. That kind of impact is exactly why we do what we do.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Don’t choose a contractor based on price alone—choose based on experience, clear communication, and proven results. The lowest bid often leads to costly change orders, delays, or poor workmanship.
Ask for:
Recent project photos
A detailed, written estimate
License and insurance verification
References or reviews from real clients
Also, make sure the contractor actually listens to your goals and walks you through the process clearly. A good contractor will care about your project as much as you do—and that’s the kind of service we strive to provide every time.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Before reaching out to a contractor, it helps to have a clear idea of a few key things:
What’s your main goal for the project? (Functionality, accessibility, resale, style upgrade?)
What’s your realistic budget? (Even a rough range helps guide the conversation)
Do you have a preferred timeline or deadline?
Are you open to design or layout suggestions?
Will the project need permits or accessibility upgrades?
Having answers to these questions helps us give you the best advice—and helps us build a project plan that fits your needs, timeline, and vision.
