Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
I try to be very fair with my pricing because I appreciate when others are fair with me.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
First would be to contact and get the exact plan, give a quote that includes a time frame, and adhere to the plan to the best of my ability. If something is different then what we have discussed, you will be notified before any decisions are made.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
High school diploma with some college at a DeVry University. And nearly 20 years in the industry to add to that!

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
A family member of mine has always done this type of work, so I just fell into it with him, and I really do enjoy my trade. Blessed.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
All kinds. Nice, not nice, indecisive, and also amazing people. But I believe things can be done in harmony with many walks of life. I try to really understand and grasp what it is that the customer truly wants to better serve.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I enclosed a porch that was 20ft x 20ft. bead board inside and bead board baby blue ceiling, screens and a metal roof, and Hardie on the outside. It took 3 weeks and was a work of art!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Don't get just one quote. And go with your gut. Many people say many things, but the stomach will usually let you know. Also, if it sounds too good to be true....... it just may well be.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Whether or not they truly want the work done. It's OK to only have an idea of what you want. That's where I step in and tell you the levels and options that we can attack this rennovation together and see which direction we want to go with things.
