Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Our pricing is based on the size, type, and pattern of the tile being installed. The most budget-friendly option is typically 12x12 or 12x24 tiles in a stacked pattern, while rates are higher for larger formats like 24x48, as well as for glass tile and mosaics, which require extra time and precision. Depending on when you reach out, we may be able to include premium thinset mortar at no extra cost. We also offer free crack isolation and sealing, and we're happy to assist with moving small furniture before starting. For larger projects, we can even pick up your tile materials from your chosen supplier at no charge, helping make the process as smooth as possible.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
We start by listening closely to your needs and goals for the project. After a quick consultation—either in person or over the phone—we provide a clear estimate based on tile size, layout, and any special requests. Once approved, we schedule the work at your convenience and communicate every step of the way to ensure you’re satisfied. Our goal isn’t just to finish the job—it’s to earn your trust. We take pride in doing our best work every time, because referrals are the ultimate compliment.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Our team brings over 10 decades of combined experience in the tile industry, with deep hands-on knowledge in both residential and commercial projects. As the owner, I’ve attended UC Berkeley and intend on returning to complete my bachelor’s degree in civil engineering once the business is fully up and running. Our plan is to combine professional craftsmanship with ongoing education to deliver quality work that’s built to last.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Tile work runs in the family—both my dad and uncle have over 20 years of experience in the trade. I saw the value in their skills and decided to build on that foundation by learning directly from them. From there, I started our own family business, where my cousins and brothers also contribute their time and effort. It’s not just work for us—it’s a tradition we’re proud to carry forward together.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We’ve worked with a wide range of clients—from homeowners on residential projects to major institutions. Our experience includes work at universities like Redlands University, California Baptist University (CBU), and the University of La Verne, as well as hospitals like Eisenhower Medical Center and various catholic churches. Each project has helped us grow and refine our craft, and we bring that experience to every new job we take on.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
Two recent projects we’re especially proud of were at Queen of Angels in Riverside and St. Frances of Rome Catholic Church in Wildomar. Both were multi-month projects involving detailed tile work throughout the church facilities. As members of the faith, it was a meaningful experience for our team to contribute to spaces that serve our community spiritually. We take great pride in helping build sanctuaries—places of peace, worship, and reflection. Putting our craftsmanship into these sacred spaces is some of the most rewarding work we’ve done.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Experience is everything. When it comes to tile work, even small mistakes can lead to costly repairs later on—so it’s important to choose someone with a proven track record. Also, family-run businesses often bring more reliability, accountability, and pride in their work. We treat every project like it’s going into our own home.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Customers should consider a few key things before reaching out: What type of tile do you want (size, material, style)? What’s the layout or pattern you envision (stacked, staggered, herringbone, etc.)? What areas need tiling—floor, wall, shower, backsplash? Do you need prep work, like removing old tile or leveling the surface? What’s your budget and timeline? And importantly, are you open to adjustments based on professional recommendations?
