Customers will get an in depth estimate for every project.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Education and Inquiry! We need to understand fully what the project is and what our customers vision is. We then match that with what we can realistically provide. We gather personal information and set up a virtual or in person estimate. Customer will get a personal and detailed proposal which they can accept or decline. We then schedule the work, updating them every step of the way.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

42 years of experience. Opened and ran a stone restoration school for many years.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

In my teenage years I supported myself cleaning windows, commercial cleaning along with carpet cleaning. That quickly evolved into a curiosity with stone. That curiosity rapidly turned into a passion. We started cleaning and restoring all stone surfaces and became an industry figure with a stone restoration school.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Last week a customer sadly was affected by a flood. Although distressing and difficult to get surprise after demo she discovered Terrazzo! We were her first and last call. We worked with a local mover to have her furniture moved to one side of the house while we restored the terrazzo section by section. She was overjoyed! We will be going back to restore the other half after the furniture is moved.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Don’t hire someone just because they are the cheapest. Ask yourself: wow how could they possibly cover their basic expenses for that price? Usually means cutting corners and low quality. Choose someone who will educate you and create realistic expectations. Choose someone who will make your visions reality!
