Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
I will need to look at the project the customer needs completed. I want to give an honest price in order to have the proper results at the end of the job. We give detailed proposal’s so there isn’t any surprises on the job which is extremely important to a potential customer.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
All customers are treated the same, doesn’t matter if your a new or existing customer. I have the same process for any future job.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
We have over 20 years experience in high end residential remolding and have mastered every trade. I was trained by one of the best award winning contractors in the industry and started off as a labor. Many years later, I became a bags on project manager that guided projects to a successful completion.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I learned the construction trades at a early age working for a family business. I started as a labor and worked my way up to Project Manager. I absolutely love construction and like the satisfaction of a completed project. I also really enjoy working with the customers daily and have made a lot of great friendships over the years.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
All my experience has been in high end residential remolding but also have completed projects in about every neighborhood in the lowcountry area over the past 20 years. We can work with any budget.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
We complete projects daily and weekly and am fond of all the jobs we’ve completed. I will not ask for the final payment until the customer and I are extremely happy with the work.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
My advice to a customer is too find a contractor that truly cares about their work and shows integrity. Homeowners should hire a true problem solver due to the fact that’s typically the reason to have work completed on their home. I would also advice homeowners to never go with the lowest bid and to only hire the company that gives a very detailed proposal that explains the work to be completed. Never hire someone that writes a non-descriptive proposal, they will never follow through and the customer will be greatly disappointed with the workmanship.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
There are many questions, time, materials, cost and how we can resolve the issues the homeowner is having. Most homeowners do not fully understand the depths of the issues they have, so its wise to hire the right company that fully explains the process to complete the project.
