Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Always giving discounts for curbside pickup, repeat customers, and referrals! Pricing is based on size and weight of the items. Some items come with an additional disposal fee such as TVs, computer monitors, etc Demolition is all based project to project. We would set up a cost free on site/virtual estimate to be able to provide an accurate competitive quote.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
The typical process is as easy as just going over a few simple questions. What are the items? Where are they located (inside/outside)? Is there stairs involved in the removal of the items? Once these questions are answered, we are in the position to give an accurate and competitive quote. *Any pictures that the customer could provide would greatly expedite the response time for a quote as well as aid with the accuracy of the quote.*

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have worked in construction fields prior to opening this business. I was trained in the safe and correct ways to build (and demolish) in any circumstance. This includes training in removal of larger items inside of a home. Creating a plan to remove the item without damaging any floors or walls in the process.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
When the pandemic hit, my hours at the machine shop were cut. My wife opened a cleaning business to help with supporting the family financially. On her cleaning endeavors, she was always asked if she could take junk. A couch here, a TV there. Customers were always so thrilled to have their space back, even with an added cost. We were excited to be able to create a second business where we could potentially work together while bringing joy to people all over by giving their space back!

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We work for anyone that needs their space back! Homeowners, real estate agents, investment groups, construction crews, etc. We do basement/garage cleanouts, full estate cleanouts, construction site cleanups, shed/garage demolitions, interior demolition, full building demolition, and more!

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
We enjoy every project. It is always a great feeling seeing the joy on peoples faces when the get their space back! But, one project in particular that we were more than proud of was one where we had helped a hoarder begin their home transformation. This home had anything you can think of packed to the ceiling in numerous rooms. We were able to provide a great price, a speedy service as well as help this person on their road to recovery. They were very thankful for the above and beyond my team went for them. They requested that we don't use any pictures from their project, which we respectfully obliged.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Take pictures! Pictures are great in this industry whether you are looking for a couch removal, or a shed demolition, pictures allow us to give you the most accurate price and time frame for your project!

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Questions to think about would be the following: What is the approximate size of the load? 1 truck 2 trucks etc? How soon are you looking to have this service completed? How is the access to the items needing to be removed? Do any items require more than 1 person to be removed?
