Introduction

We can help you with all of your fence and deck projects. We like to meet with you in person so that we know exactly what you want done. We can build a new fence or deck, repair and existing fence or deck or if you want to add on a fence or deck we can do that as well. I enjoy meeting new people and helping them take care of projects that they don't want to do or just don't have the time for.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Our basic fee is $75 per hour for handyman services. Construction jobs are generally on a per square foot basis. We give free estimates for these. If the project is big enough to where we might need a second person we will discuss that with you before we would start anything. We take these on a case by case basis.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I like to meet a new customer at the place where the work will be performed. This way we can walk through the project together to see exactly what needs to be done and what the expectations are. This way everyone is on the same page and then there won't be any surprises.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I worked with my brother who was a general contractor for two years before I started my own business.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I started working with my brother who at the time was a general contractor back in 2002.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We have work with a variety of people including individuals and small business owners.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I recently painted a house for a customer. They chose a much darker color for the house than what the original color was. The brick that they had in the front now didn't match the new paint color. Instead of replacing all of the brick, I suggested that we paint it. This helped avoid a big expense for new brick. I have some pictures of this in my picture gallery. It took approximately one week.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
If anyone ever asks you to pay the full price of the bid before they start work, be very leery of that. It is common to pay up to 50% of the quoted bid before the work start depending on the project size. This is generally used to cover any supplies and materials that might be needed.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
What is it that I need done? What do I expect from a professional? What do they expect from me? What time frame is realistic to get the job done?
