What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Generally, a customer will spend more money per square foot on smaller projects versus larger areas.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I would come out to visit the property to see what the customer has in mind. Measure the area(s) for square footage. Then sit down with the customer to go over the process of installation, timeline, expectations, and other questions/concerns. Providing the customer with a price and if customer wants to move forward - contract signing.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have over 15 years of experience in in-home sales - selling windows, heating and a/c, and solar. Last 2 years with artificial turf.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I started as a sales manager for Home Depot working under Turf Evolutions. I was designated to cover the greater Bay Area region. In less than 3 months of working, I was the top sales manager in all of California. Now Ive been working with Tru Turf

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked in small residential homes ranging from 50 square feet to 50,000 square feet. I have worked in commercial properties ranging from 200 square feet to 55,000 square feet hospitals and apartment complexes.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Just recently completed 600 square foot project that included tree removal. Full installation took approximately three days.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

My advice would be to get one or two quotes from other competitors and compare price, product,installation and warranties.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Customers should think about the design and landscape options that includes pavers, walk ways, trails, cement, stamped concrete, etc. Some customers want just the lawn and others want full landscape services.
