Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Because we are a small family-owned and operated business we have the flexibility to offer our clients the most competitive pricing in Orange County. We value quality, integrity, and 100% customer satisfaction.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
We offer free in-person and virtual consultations 6 days a week. My consultations usually take about 20-60 minutes depending on the scope of the project.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have worked in the turf industry from the very beginning. I personally have over 15 years of experience installing large scale commercial projects, city projects, school playgrounds, in addition to residential projects ranging from San Diego to San Jose. My work has been featured in magazines, newspapers, and I have been blessed to be able to donate artificial turf installs in local schools.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I started out with a large corporate turf company as a turf installer. I was their lead installer/project manager for many years. The way they operated their business didn't align with my values, namely integrity, so my wife and I started our own artificial turf installation company and have been happily providing clients beautiful landscape transformations at reasonable honest prices for the past 8 years.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I have worked with customers from every walk of life, from new families wanting a safe and beautiful lawn for their kids to play on to providing recreational areas, like bocce ball courts & putting greens, for retirement communities. I've worked with cities to beautify their medians and civic centers, churches, hotels, museums, rooftop terraces, schools, daycares/pre-schools, sports fields, and more. When it comes to the exterior of any home or commercial space, my team and I work hard to bring our customers vision to life.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
A recent project I am particularly fond of is a corner lot home I did in Lakewood. The home was beautiful, but unfortunately the landscape was not--dead grass covered the front lawn and parkway. I worked with the homeowner and her budget to bring this landscape to life by not just installing beautiful natural looking green synthetic grass, but other materials as well: drought-tolerant plants, stone walkways, pavers, rocks, tree rings. I love working with different materials other than just synthetic grass, I find it both cost effective for the homeowner and helps enhance my custom design aesthetic. After we were done with the 5 day project, my client told me she started to notice people slowing down and rolling down their windows as they drove by her house. Customer satisfaction is my highest priority, so hearing a client happy and proud of their new landscape makes me love even more what I do.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
My biggest advice is to make sure you choose someone with vast experience and knowledge, not just a sales guy.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Do I want tall or short grass? Is this something I want in both the front and backyard? Typically you save money when you do both, instead of doing them on separate dates. Does the turf have at least a 15 year warranty? Do I want to add different materials and a design element to lower the initial investment? (i.e. d.g., rocks, drought-tolerant plants & planters, etc.)
