What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We apply honest and transparent pricing in order for the customer to make an informed decision. We apply a balanced approach of providing a competitive quote while ensuring that all materials are of high quality as we believe craftsmanship is important to the overall customer experience.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Our process begins with obtaining information in order to book an in-person appointment for a free, no obligation consultation. During the first meeting, we like to meet with customers to understand the nature of the project, their home remodel goals and budget. We use this information to determine if we are the best service provider for the customer’s project and then proceed with developing an estimated quote.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

All of our projects use an experienced team with extensive experience in the home remodeling and construction industry. Depending on the project, we provide designers who have a deep portfolio of previous projects who specialize in providing 3D models and renderings; our team also comprises of licensed plumbers and electricians and skilled installers. If needed, we can also provide an architect.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

We have always had a passion around home remodeling and in 2008, we decided to pursue this passion by starting a family-owned business.

What types of customers have you worked with?

We have worked with a wide range of customers from homeowners who were looking for a bathroom remodel to homeowners who were looking to remodel their entire home and everything in between. We also work with many customers who are looking to transform their outdoor space to expand their living space and take advantage of the beautiful southern California weather.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

We recently finished a complete home remodel for a client located in Santa Monica who had renters for almost 30 years and was in need of upgrading a significant portion of the home. This project required upgrading all plumbing, electrical, installing new kitchen flooring and one bathroom remodel. Given the significant lapse in time since any improvements were made to the house, it was a challenging but rewarding project given the amazing result; most importantly, the customer was extremely satisfied with the overall process and results.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

In advance of a first meeting, prepare list of questions to ensure they gather the necessary information to make an informed decision. Hiring a contractor is an important decision and you want to feel confident in your decision.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Customers should include a variety of questions to ensure that the contractor has the experience and skillset to perform the project. Additionally, customers should inquire about the expected timeline, whether the contractor is licensed and insured, should they start with a design, what is included in the quote (e.g., does it include both finish and rough materials), overall budget as well as does the contractor use any subcontractors?
