What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Once I arrive at the property, I like to meet with the customer, and then I will investigate the issue and/or perform a systems check, inspecting each station as well as the controller and the back-flow prevention. Once I have marked all issues, I will call the customer outside to show them the issues before I begin repairs.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have 6 years of experience in landscaping and irrigation and I am also a licensed irrigator

How did you get started doing this type of work?

My career began at a highly rated landscaping company in Ennis, TX called Tex-Scapes Nursery and Landscape. What started as a way to pay the bills quickly grew into a passion as I gained hands-on experience and learned the value of creating beautiful, functional outdoor spaces. Over the three years I spent there, I discovered a true appreciation for the craft and decided to turn it into a lifelong career.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I recently completed an irrigation repair project that involved replacing multiple valves and rebuilding an entire station that had been buried beneath a newly constructed patio. The homeowner inherited some issues from the original installation, which is common in new homes and developments where irrigation systems may not always be installed with long-term efficiency in mind. Unfortunately, the costly repairs could have been avoided by consulting a professional before the patio was built, ensuring the system was properly adjusted or relocated. The project took a few days to complete due to the extensive troubleshooting and was investigation required to uncover all the underlying issues, as well as the careful planning and execution needed to rebuild the system for long-lasting performance.
