What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Pricing depends on the type of installation and the size of the project. Prices go up or down depending on take-out and removal as well as the type of installation. $10/sqft for lawn $15/sqft for pet turf $20-$25/sqft for putting greens

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Go over the installation process from start to finish. Measure the project and assess the project area for access and drainage.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

B.S. The University of Texas - Magna Cum Laude.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I started doing this part time while I was a Safety Manager and found so much joy when I finished a project when I see the excitement in my customers faces that I started doing this full time. “It’s not work when you love what you do.”

What types of customers have you worked with?

Professional Golfers, Commercial Playgrounds, Residential lawns, pet turf and putting greens with all levels of golfers that want to improve their game.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

We removed a beautiful Coy Pond that the family no longer enjoyed and installed a putting green the whole family enjoys. Having the customers send me pictures of them enjoying the putting green it is all the reward I need. It took a full week to complete.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Find a company that does not cut corners. The preparation of the project area is just as critical if not more than laying the turf. Fixing an improper install can be more costly than the initial install. You always pay for what you get.

What type of installation would you enjoy for years to come? Are there any drainage issues that need to be addressed? What needs to be cleared out to maximize your project area?
